All departing passengers are required to check the validity of passport and ticket information prior to the departure. Also passengers are recommended to check the information on security, immigration and customs from the airport website prior to the departure. To ensure a seamless departure from Incheon International Airport, passengers are advised to check information on guidelines for liquids, aerosols and gels in carry-on baggage on airport website when packing baggage.

Departing passengers are advised to arrive at the airport 2 to 3 hours prior to the scheduled time of departure for a hassle-free shopping.
- Korean Air: Check-in counter opens at 6:10 a.m.
- Asiana Airlines: Check-in counter opens at 6:15 a.m.
- Other carriers: Check-in counter opens 2 to 3 hours prior to the departure

Passengers can find the location of check-in counters on the display monitors located on the 3rd floor (departure floor) upon arrival.

Passengers not carrying any baggage can use the “passengers without baggage counter” for a timely and efficient process.

Passengers who have purchased airline tickets online can use the “online ticket counter” for a hassle-free experience.

Self Check-in Kiosk (Only 3 minutes to get the boarding pass)

Passengers are recommended to use self check-in kiosks to save queuing time at the check-in counters.

Airlines providing self check-in kiosks:
Korean Air (KE), Asiana Airlines (OZ), United Airlines (UA), Delta Air (DL), Cathay Pacific (CX), ANA (NH), KLM (KL), CCA(CA), AAL(AA)

- Self-check in kiosks can be used for passengers departing to countries in visa 
   waiver agreement with the Republic of Korea. (Japan, countries in the Southeast
   Asia) Passengers departing to China, North America, Europe and other continents
   need to check-in at the check-in counters. 
- Baggage can be checked-in at the Self Check-in Baggage Counters.
- Please check the restrictions on dangerous goods for baggage before checking-in.

How to use the self check-in kiosk    

Passengers who have completed check-in at the City Air Terminals located in Samseong and Seoul Station may proceed directly to the fast lane located at the designated entrance of security check-point and immigration.

Procedure: Designated entrance of security check-point → security screening → Immigration for City Air Terminal Passengers → Proceed to Boarding Gate → Boarding
