Depending on the country of destination, quarantine certifications may be checked, so please verify before traveling.

Note: Quarantine procedures should be complete before check-in in order to expedite procedures.

Yellow Fever

Africa: Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Nigeria, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Sudan.

Central and South America: Bolivia, Brazil, Columbia, Ecuador, Guyana (France), Peru, Venezuela, etc.

Passengers heading for Africa and Central America must be vaccinated 10 days before traveling, and must carry an internationally authorized vaccination certificate, Vaccinations are valid for 10 years, and when the internationally authorized vaccination certificate is lost, it can be reissued.

Cholera

Sailors traveling to Africa, Central and South America, and Southeast Asia.

Cholera vaccines in shots have questionable effects (less than 50%) and in 1988, WHO has stopped recommending it to travelers.

Vaccination and Issuance of Certificate

Vaccinations and certificate issuances are performed at the public service center in the Incheon Airport Quarantine Station located behind the check-in island F on the 3rd floor of the passenger terminal.

Yellow fever vaccinations are given on Mondays and Thursdays only. Please call the quarantine station to make a reservation in advance.

Animal Quarantine

Before taking a pet to another country

Some countries may prohibit a certain kind of animal's arrival or require animal quarantine certificates. So please check with National Veterinary Research and Quarantine Service (NVRQS) or contact the destination country's consulate or embassy to confirm the requirements for entry in advance.

Passengers traveling with dogs or cats to Japan, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, EU countries are advised to contact NVRQS in advance.

Plant Quarantine

Some countries may prohibit the entry of specific plants or ask for certificates. Passengers traveling with plants are advised to check with NVRQS in advance.
