- With your boarding pass and passport, go to the nearest security check point for security screening. There are a total of four departure gates in Incheon International Airport, and if the nearest departure gate is crowded, you may use a less busy gate to expedite your departure process.
- To guarantee the safety of passengers and airplanes, security screening is compulsory for all passengers. So please cooperate with airport security operations.
- Due to security reasons, people who are not boarding cannot enter beyond the departure gates, so please say farewells in front of the departure gates.
Security Screening Procedures
Present your passport and boarding pass to the security officer for ID check.
Customs Declarations (When needed)
Place your carry-on items on the conveyor belt
(bags, handbags, coats, etc.)
Place pocket items (A mobile phone, coins, keys etc) in a basket
Please proceed through the archway metal detector and you may be
screened by a handheld metal detector.
