Quarantine Inspection Guidelines

You must complete the quarantine inspection related procedure before boarding procedure to avoid any delays in boarding.

Africa and Central and South America pose high risk for yellow fever contagion. Those traveling to these areas must receive the yellow fever vaccination at least 10 days before departure and carry the Yellow Card as proof.

Cholera

  • Africa, Central and South America, Southeast Asia

Oral cholera vaccine taken twice (1-6 weeks between each dose) will protect 85-90% and is recommended for travelers or long-term visitors to high-risk areas.

Requirements for vaccination

  • Please verify your destination country’s status on infectious diseases.
  • Please visit a general hospital (infectious disease department, traveler’s clinic) 4-6 weeks (at least 2 weeks) before departure for consultation and to receive any appropriate vaccination (medicine).

    Recommended vaccination(medicine) for travel: yellow fever, malaria (medicine), typhoid, tetanus, Hep A, meningococcal meningitis, etc.

    Recommended: MMR, DPT, influenza, chickenpox, polio, and other basic vaccinations

  • Children, pregnant women, seniors over age 65, and chronic patients require special attention, and there might be vaccinations that they cannot receive. Please consult your family doctor beforehand.
