✅ Swiss International Air Lines Resumes the Incheon-Zurich Route

The Alps are now getting closer!
After 27 years, a Switzerland’s largest airline, Swiss International Air Lines, has resumed flights on the Incheon-Zurich route. 🎉
Starting from May 8, flights have been operating three times a week. ✈️
✅ Elderly Appreciation Special Trot Festa Held

On May 8, for a Parents' Day, the 'Incheon Airport Elderly Appreciation Trot Festa' was held at the Central Millennium Hall, Terminal 1.
Parents of the airport staffs, local elderly residents, and some travelers, who won a pre-event, were invited to enjoy the performance together.
The event began with a performance of the Taekwondo Demonstration Team from the World Taekwondo Headquarter,
followed by popular trot singers Lee Chan-won and Hwang Yoon-sung. 🎤

✅ Distribution of 'Love Packages' for celebrating the Family Month

As many of you may know, Incheon Airport has involved in various social contribution activities.
For celebrating the Family Month, we delivered the essential item packages to grandparent-headed and single-parent families, residing in Incheon’s Jung-gu.
The packages included daily necessities, such as shampoo and detergent, which were distributed to around 350 families through the Jung-gu Office. 🙌
✅ WestJet Canada, Launches New Incheon-Calgary Route

With beautiful emerald lakes and the Rocky Mountains!
A new route from Incheon Airport to Calgary, Canada has been launched! This is the third direct regular route to Canada, following Vancouver and Toronto.
A Canada’s second-largest airline, WestJet, has been operating this route three times a week starting May 18. ✈️
✅ Agreement on 'Smart Pass Activation' with Financial Institutions

On May 22, Incheon Airport signed a 'Smart Pass Service Activation Agreement' with KB Kookmin Bank and Shinhan Bank.
Many of you might already know about Smart Pass!
For those unfamiliar, it is a service allowing you to depart without presenting passport or boarding pass, but only requiring facial recognition information.
Currently, you can pre-register for Smart Pass by using the ICN SmartPass mobile app or self-check-in kiosks at Incheon Airport.
Sooner or later, you will be also able to do via the KB Star Banking and Shinhan SOL apps!
✅ 'Jang-hoon Kim’s Classic from a Reclining Position' for People with Severe Disabilities

On May 22, 'Jang-hoon Kim’s Classic from a Reclining Position for People with Severe Disabilities' was held at the Central Millennium Hall, Terminal 1.
Singer Kim Jang-hoon, world-renowned baritone Kim Dong-kyu, and pop soprano Han Ah-reum performed a delightful classical concert.
The concert was designed for people with severe disabilities, who could enjoy the performance while lying down in the first or second row. 😊
Around 90 people with severe disabilities and their families attended the event and enjoyed the performance together. 🎵
Inclduing this event, Incheon Airport has provided various accessibility services for people with disabilities.
✅ Eco-Friendly Exhibition about Carbon Neutrality

In collaboration with the National Gwacheon Science Museum, Incheon Airport held the special exhibition, 'Carbon C Signal', at T1 Transportation Center.
'Carbon C Signal' is a science and art fusion exhibition, themed carbon neutrality, which is open for free to everyone visiting Incheon Airport.
The exhibition aims to provide a correct understanding of carbon and explores fundamental solutions for carbon neutrality.
The exhibition utilizes eco-friendly materials which were commonly found at the industrial sites to create a 'sustainable exhibition'.
A carbon-reduction challenge might be ongoing until June 7!
